The ZAI project on menstruation focuses on breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation by promoting awareness and education. The project aims to challenge and eliminate taboos associated with menstruation, emphasizing that it is a natural and normal biological process. By educating communities and providing accurate information, the ZAI project seeks to improve menstrual health and hygiene management, ultimately empowering women and girls to manage their menstrual cycles with dignity and confidence.
Mostly Women and children suffer inequality in Humanitarian settings, which ranges from neglect, Child labour, Early marriage, Gender Based Violence, and out-of-school children. Similarly, children living in IDPs camps and host communities in the Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Borno are facing same challenges.
Ensuring that young people have a voice in decisions that affect their lives, such as educational policies, community planning, and local governance. Encouraging youth to take part in activities and programs that allow them to develop skills, express their opinions, and contribute to societal progress. Also, addressing barriers that may prevent certain groups of youth, such as those from marginalized backgrounds, from fully participating. This involves providing necessary support and resources to level the playing field. Supporting youth in gaining confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of agency, enabling them to take active roles in their communities.
We invite organizations, communities, and individuals to partner with us in driving meaningful change.
